after my tongue piercing question yesterday, i decided to get it done! i got it done at about 3pm this afternoon.
my tongues sore and swollen but i didnt bleed to death!!
thanks for all your good advice the other day!

anyone got any good cleaning advice? the girl who did it said salt water twice a day should do it.

you should just go for it, i was terrified and thought i wasnt gonna do it, but they i just thought that if i didnt get it done now i wouldnt ever get it done!
they numb it so the pains not that bad really, it hurts a little but nothing major.

had mine done last summer but didnt look after it properly and it went septic. so you need to be careful. also couldn't drink fizzy stuff for about a week as it made the wound really sore. take care of it missjef and congrats to you for being brave.

Good for you - I loved my tongue piercing - I had one for 3 years...but took it out just because I had too - don't ask.

I don't know about the salt water...A nip of vodka now and again will help sterilise - Well, that was my excuse! :D

A word of warning - Be ever careful when eating. I have 4 broken teeth thanks to my tongue stud....

On the plus side, I have lots of piccies with me hanging stuff off my tongue, such as my personal fave - a dinner suit on a coat hanger, threaded through my tongue...
