I found some in local cheapo stores, Poundstretcher and others, think the brand was called Malibu, smells of coconut anyway, and I tried it in Rhodes this year. After a few days I had no heat rash at all, and got really brave one day and went for a walk without a shirt on, in the midday sun...madness for me under normal circumstances....and had no bad reaction at all. I guess the oils I'd been using before contained water, which blocked the pores in my skin, causing the trouble. It works for me anyway. Good luck.

Hi Bantams73,
I also suffer from prickely heat really badly and have done for years. What I was told to do was to take anti-hystamines 5 days before you go on holiday and when you're away you won't get it anymore as long as you're sensible. You don't have to pay for a full prescription price, try one of the supermarkets own products for the likes of hayfever or allergies, it works a treat and you can pick them up for about 2 quid - hope this helps!
