ive been working all night, sweating like you wouldnt believe then get home and have a cool shower. climb into a bed that is too hot for most of us to sleep in and cant have the windows open because of noise !
i wake hourly and can feel the heat climbing...

Fill a hot water bottle with water and crushed ice...wrap it in a towel and use it as a pillow....it is absolute heaven!!!!
Also
get one of those straw mats that u use on the beach ... and put it on the bed...this dissapates ur body heat as opposed to the matress.
Or
do as i did.....i called my ex last night just to get the cold shoulder.....
(u can use someone u are not currently getting along with)
Oh for the autumn ....wooly jumpers....and long walks in the crisp evening air

Got this tip from holiday rep in Crete when over there in a heatwave.
Take your bedsheet into the shower, soak both yourself and the sheet in as cool water as you can bear. Wring the excess water out of the sheet, dry yourself off then go to bed covering yourself with the damp sheet. You should easily fall asleep before the sheet dries as this will keep you cool. If you wake up baking hot later in the night - repeat.
This really works.
