Ive never had any wisdom teeth taken out... will you be put to sleep? make sure you have painkillers to hand in case you need them.. il be thinking of you... good luck you brave thing! x
I was temporaily suspended... And I was the good one! Oh well...

You'll be alright hun, I'm sure it won't be that bad. And think how much worse it'll be if you get it sorted.
Awwwww froggo - you will definitely need the day off hun.I had one taken out lst year and although It was an easy procedure,it bled pretty heavily for a good couple of hours, and moving about will make things worse. You should go straight home afterwards, plop yourself on sofa and just have a good sleep.By eve you will feel ok,but take painkillers.xx

thnx for the support patricia maybe im talkin pants and it will be fine but i still think ill have the afternoon off tho
Don't laugh you big meanie!

Just do what Pink says, sounds like she knows what she's talking about and look on it as a nice restful day at home.

Also, tomorrow is supposed to be the hottest day of the year so far so you could actually just lie out in the garden with a beer and sunbath... it could be worse!
Errrm, my manager was off for nearly six weeks with hers. Hope it goes okay.x

BTW hi pink hope the ol bill popped a cap in yr b/f a55
Hi I'm terrified of the dentist, and even more scared of needles and pain but a couple of years ago I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. The first one was a top tooth and I went back to work afterwards but it just bled and bled, although didn't hurt too much. The next one was the bottom and hardly any bleeding but was uncomfortable. Then i had a top and bottom at same time, again top one bled and both were a bit painful but a couple of nurofen and a couple of hours sleep did the trick. Don't worry, you'll be fine. I'll be thnking of you :-)
See... every cloud and all that!

And since you're doing that you can think of me stuck in a blooming office all day with a stupid suit on... and they've pinched my porter.
If they are not impacted wisdom teeth they shouldn't be a problem as wisdom teeth have very short roots. I had to have one out recently because it was loose due to my terrible gums and I honestly didn't feel a thing, although as I have said it was loose already.

Hope it goes OK.
Hi froggo - the police weren't very helpful(see thread earlier today).Am still waiting for them to call me back.

i dont mind sharing might be a bit bloody tho
Oh dear - I was one of the people who replied to the q you're referring to. I've had all four wisdom teeth out at the dentists - for the first couple I went straight back to work but I was dosed up on painkillers and had a massive jaw and felt pretty yuck - the second time I took two days off work to recover, and sat around watching daft videos and drinking lucozade and that was infinitely prefrable. And it is a fairly easy process - you just feel a bit sore and groggy for a bit and there is a bit of bleeding too...
But mine were impacted - so probably a bit more problematic than normal wisdom teeth. I'll shut up now.
