Swinging

I've recently started seeing an older married woman (she's 44 and I'm 30) and things are going great. But last night she said she wants us to start going to swingers clubs and parties together. I've never really thought about it and not sure what to expect. Does anybody have any experiences they could share, or any advice? As I don't know too much about the "scene", is it popular, and what should I expect?

Seriously, if you are a happy couple and YOU want to try it, then make sure you discuss it VERY THOROUGHLY with your partner beforehand.

Well -heres what u dont want to hear.You have been hand picked to acompany her-that is it.If I were her and I was single and I had a 30yr old prepared to dance attention on me - why would I would want a sweaty old git with a wrinkled calk that hadnt seen action for years.If she wants one on one with women she doesnt need you.
U want to stick with yer own age pal and just enjoy it for what its meant to be -eff that skanky minging scene.Its just an excuse half the time for all the pervs who cant just enjoy a relationship - eff that for a game of dominoes.
And no I am far from frigid - just not desperate and would never be.Rather watch a DVD - lol

Just to clarify... i, myself, do not partake of these particular activities, but am familiar with them from another side of the... er... well... i am familar with them.

Drisgirl was perhaps a little harsh(!) but she has a point, although the couples who do it (in general) ARE couples (usually in their 20s-40s) and far from desperate.

Basically, some people are into it and others ain't. Those who are not often have pre-conceived ideas about the mingingness of it all... IN GENERAL these events are run well, in respectable establishments, by respectable people who are clean, discreet and NORMAL...

Each to their own. I would probably do it if I wasn't in a seriously loved up relationship, but I am...so, no I wouldn't do it!

I have heard that it is all in good fun & most are very hygenic. Go for it if you feel you can handle it, and you won't feel jealous of other blokes $hagging your woman ;o)

The major problem with 'swinging' which few people ever take into consideration are the numerous STD's that can be transmitted and carried without people even realising they are infected.

Sadly, condoms are not a foolproof way of protecting yourself and some infections remain dormant for years.
