I found a pile of old photos from when I was a teenager at the weekend and it made me think "why did I wish I was older all the time" . Now that I'm here, I want my lovely long summers off again and 2 weeks at Christmas!
i used to spend all my time wishing my life away then as i approached 40 lots of people close to me were seriously ill, a couple died, and my outlook on life rapidly changed. I didnt do this intentionally, in fact quite obliviously, but looking back i can see how, why and when it happened. we must all appreciated our life and live every minute to the full, you never know whats around the corner.
every night i go out into the garden and look at the sky (sad!) and i think about who ive seen that day, what ive learned today, what was said today, what i liked and didnt like about today and say a wee prayer. i dont think i waste any of my days.

I don't think I waste my days, but there are so many things in my head I wish were different, or situations beyond my control or involvement. Sometimes it's like people don't hear what I'm saying, or something, or they're not listening. But surely someone must get what I'm on about
Yep... all the time recently. Ah well...
Yup - It's as though you know you're stuck in a terrible rut, but don't know what to do about it :(

i need to find what to do about it... I'm so sad. Can't be tearful while working! Not so good
We could all swap lives and see how we get on? :oD

Anyone fancy being a 26-yr-old nurse in the Midlands?

you wouldn't wanna swap with me, dizzy! Admin Assisting part time aged 31... and the sun isn't even shining here today!
Well I dont (at least I hope I dont) but my wife, Mrs O almost daily says to me, ooh I wish it was Saturday, or oh why cant it be October? And I actually get fed up with that as I always tend to think what I need to do before Saturday or even before October. Mrs O gets fed up with me because she thinks I am a misery guts who doesnt look forward to anything, but its not true, I do (just the in between bits as well).
Mrs. Octavius can swap with me to learn the importance of living in the moment, I'll have Elpea's office job to appreciate not having to work 9-5, and Elpea can move in with Octavius - Everyone's sorted! Yay!
