Strange Fears/Habits?

Has anybody got strange fears? For example, I hate if I have to stand over the plughole I'm having a shower! Weird.

I cant have my leg hanging of the bed when I sleep at night. The mugwamps might get me :-)

Ventriolquist dolls, puppets (including punch and judy but strangely not the muppets) and clowns. All very creepy.

Also bugs but I don't think that's very strange.

This isn't very strange but I have a fear of every single kind of insect in the world and if any flies or moths come near me I blow out so they don't go in my mouth! Silly I know. I've also been thinking about getting some summer ear-muffs to wear whilst I'm at work because as its hot we have the windows open and we get no end of those massive meat flies buzzing past my ears. I absolutely HATE it and it scares me to death. If I had ear-muffs I'm sure I'd be a lot better - as long as they don't go in my mouth! aaargh

I understand the bug thing. I can only hear in one ear and am TERRIFIED of something crawling into my 'good' ear and building a nest or something!

I cant have any part of me body hanging out of bed

I run from toilet when i flush it at night and i've gotta be back in bed under the covers when the flush has ended or they will get me lol

I also really darent look in a mirror when its dark in case i see summat spooky behind me and im blooming 40 lol

Daddy Long Legs - can't even be in the same room as one. Which is a real a**e because there's one in my bathroom at the moment ...

I won't eat round carrots - you know if you slice them and the slices are circular - yuck. Not so much of a fear as a hate, they don't scare me (much).

I hate water running down my sleeve toward my elbow. Urghhhhh.

i cant sleep on my back because i have a fear of choking in the night!

im with China Doll about ventriloquist dolls and clowns, theyre just and not entertainment at all!!

i can never sleep if theres a spider in my room because im scared itll crawl in my mouth!!!

im also with the others about having limbs hanging off the bed.

another really stupid thing when i was younger was, i couldnt sleep if i was facing the door because it meant that if a burglar or someone came in i wouldnt have time to hide!

I always used to think it would be Freddie Kruger who would 'get' me if i didn't do certain things in time. I also have the mirror fear!

Don't mind any insects apart from Silverfish, uurgh! Make me want to throw up and my skin crawl! *shudder*

i can't sleep unless i have my duvet tucked in around my feet otherwise the monster under the bed will get me. spiders urghhhh, we have an infestation at work at the mo and as buildings manager i'm supposed to deal but i ran away screaming and called pest control in, i couldn't even show him the room, and just thinking about it makes me go funny.

Well the bug fear thing is also down to this happening to me a few years ago. I woke up and my ear felt really funny -you know how it feels after a shower/bath. Well I went and got a cotton bud and I pulled out a small squashed dead spider. I ABSOLUTELY FREAKED!! I slept with cotton wool in my ears for months afterwards. Even my partner couldn't believe it! Funny thing was I actually kept the dead spider as proof to show my friends that weekend.

I think I'm going to have to get the cotton wool out again tonight now I've just thought about it again.

Apart from the usual spider/bug phobia I have a few things I really don't like!

I can't take the plug out of the bath while I'm still in it, I have to be out and dry before it comes out!

I can't watch people brush their teeth, it makes me gag!

I can't look at people's feet, I loathe feet!

I can't bear seeing people milk cows, again it makes me gag!

weird warpig, im exactly same (not scared of em just cant stand em) but i love em raw, chopped mashed, just not in rounds they taste completely different lol

It doesn't matter which side I climb into bed but I have to get out the same side.

And if I have a crisp or sweet or chip off someone I have to take 2.

I have just realised that I am a freak!!!!

I have a huge knife phobia I get really freaked if I walk into a room and someone is cutting vegetables or chicken or something. And people that hang knives on walls? Why?? People eating an apple with an knife makes me physically sick. Know idea where it came from or why but Ive had it all my life its very disturbing :O(

I'm with pixi on the toilet thing, but I have to run down 13 stairs before the flush stops or I will surely die.

I'm terrified of storms - spent 2 hours last night hiding in the downstairs toilet with my mum until it had gone!! I hate wasps and generally flying insects!! I have to turn all the lights off in the house when going to be incase someone comes in so that I'll see a torch or if there's a fire then I'll see the flames!!! Wierd!
