I am going on holiday next month and my period will start on the second day, I am not on the pill does anyone know if there is a way to stop it for a week. I would have been fine but I was a week late a couple of months ago and mucked it all up, not normally late.
yes, thank god there is a pill you can take about a week before your period is due and you continue taking them until you come back. then you take a light period; ive had them with me the last 3 years ive been away...brill!!! sorry, cant remember the name but i can get it for you if you need it. your gp will know but some of them can be funny about giving it. my doc is brill though and didnt have a problem with it...good luck.
crete, this is a question and answer site, and this section is called body and soul....it is questions like this that the site needs, not questions like "who is at the door" or "where is my mobile have you seen it?" dont have a go at people for asking serious questions
crete, this section of the website is titled Body and Soul, has that passed you by? A lot of people come here for a chat, but that doesn't mean people can actually use it for what it's really designed for.
crete read the important notice when clicking on body and soul....people arent THAT stupid! they know they should seek advice from a doctor but they are asking for people's opinions and basically if anyone has gone through the same thing.
You're right crete, but it's nice to get a bit of support of confirmation before you go see the doc? And if that's the case, let's do away with the section altogether? I think it's a perfectly fine question, and many women have used the pills mentioned, knowing that you haven't just dreamt up the idea is a good thing, we're none of us actually writing a prescription are we?
Why is telling someone that there is a pill available to stall your periods, classed as being one only a medical practioner should be able to say. For goodness sake, the poster asked a simple Q. Liza didn't ask a fellow ABer to prescribe a god damn pill !!
maybe everyone should have taken the time to read my answer before jumping in and being so rude my answer was totally right why so many of you want an argument i dont know p s i knew what i was talking about, once again get your sense of humour back. to liza b who asked the question hope we have not ruined your question
no it shouldnt be "fetted" by anyone, and notice i wasnt the only one who mentioned it...i shouldnt have jumped down your throat, sorry. just didnt think there was any need to tell the poster that her question wasnt deemed credible for the site
