i met a guy in a club about 8 wks ago, we had a really good long chat and got on really well. When i left he asked for my no. and txt before i even got home from the club.

We continued to txt then he went on hols for 2 wks came back txt continued, then unexpectedly he went away again for 10 days.

Anyway he's back now and has asked me to go out for a drink-by text!! Ive kinda hinted that i want him to ring, thats not bn a buny boiler surely?! But he still hasnt! why doesnt he call?!?!

(I AM NO WAY RINGING HIM-ITS PRINCIPLE NOW!)

As it's been a while since you spoke, he may find it a bit easier to ask you by text. I don't think you are a bunny boiler for wanting him to ring, just don't see the problem with him asking you by text.
Sounds suspicious. Almost like he already has a girlfriend and is very cagey about how/when he makes contact, but is prepared to 'dabble' as long as he can get away with it.
give is land line number a ring. A lot of time, principals cause more trouble than theyre worth
Cut him some slack ! he's just nervous or shy I expect.

I agree with Booldawg, he sounds like abit of a player, as you said Chic, let him chase you up, just be sure to ask,txt the right questions, you should be able to catch him out if you want to, on the other hand he might be a shy type of fella, tho this i feel is highly unlikely as shy people are not normally forthcoming in night clubs due to lack of confidence they have.

just make sure ''YOUR HAPPY'' with the situation before going out for a drink with him
Hi chic21998

Maybe the reason he texts is because sometimes when you ring it can get very awkward. If your nervous and having to think of things to say and then there's nothing worse than pregnant pauses! I know I text sometimes instead of ringing as I don't want to spend my time on the phone and just want a quick response to something as I may not have anything to say at the time or not feel like talking....

It's just a thought as to why he only texts. I guess it depends on how much you like him as to what to do next.
I would bite the bullet and ring him, then if he's cagey or doesn't seem happy you rang and then carries on texting still, then you know something is a bit suss.

Good Luck :o)
If he likes you then he should ring - whatever happened to wooing a girl. If he cant make this effort then my advice is to find someone with a spine. Harsh but true.
I honestly think that as you have spent so much of the relationship (?) texting that now its going to be hard to break that habit. You are both in the comfortable and easy situation where you can happily text without effort! Its time to break the habit. Call him.... whats the worst that can happen?
