Have you every been really prepared for doing something and FATE has stepped in at the last minute and pulled on the reigns?

It's happened to me lots of times in the past and it's always seemed that fate has stopped me making a complete fool of myself.

OK.....Surely an insult is not worth killing over, it's a bit OTT
....but then again if your time is up and fate steps in you cannot stop the grim reaper.
Cockney, i don't take to insults about my family, lets just say i will do anything to protect them.

i sometimes feel that fate has stepped in to help me out.

I work in London and my tube journey to work used to be through the Aldgate area. On the day of the July tube bombings i couldn't get out of bed, ended up being later than i usually was. If I had got the train the time I usually got it, I would have been travelling through the area when the bombs went off. As it turns out, I got evacuated a couple of stations before.

Other occasions that stick in my mind are a few occasions where there have been 2 bands that I really want to see playing on the same day. I wished and wished for something to help me decide and then one of the gigs got cancelled. Another time it happened the gig got postponed. The fact that it happened more than once made me wonder...
