Chatterbank

I know this has been gone over many times, but I think the steady decline of this site, has been going on ever since Chatterbank disappeared, leading to the loss of some great A/Bers like Raysparx, for thos that can remember, Woofgang, Ursula62. and others.
Thats my belief, does anyone else agree?.

I do agree but also I loved Chatterbank and miss it loads. I think this site will always have chat and banter and pointless Q's.. it was just better when they were contained in Chatterbank... don't get me wrong.. I don't mind the pointless Q's... they make it more interesting but I can't stand all the rows coz of people moaning about them!
The site is not declining, not a bit. Aspects of B&S many people do not like, but if you spend any appreciable time in the other categories you will see that all is business as usual.
It is quite normal when you assemble a group of intelligent human beings and let them interact.
If you ever find a better place than here, kindly let us know, but you won't.

I agree fully Ruby, questions come in all shapes and sizes, but as you rightly point out, it was contained.
whiffey, I don't know if you were around when Chatterbank was on, but yes, definately, Body&Soul is in a steep decline, no doubt about it.
sophie, your right there, I posted that ages ago, exactly what you've put.

lonnie I agree, when cb shut down i more or less stopped coming on here after a week or so as i didnt want to be tempted to chat in here or the other sections. A hell of a lot of folks used body and soul for genuine questions. Though I must admit i once put up a really ungenuine personal question for a laugh. I bobbed back on every so often but there were loads of new folks and I didnt know who was who, also I still felt it wrong to put up silly posts. Ive visited a bit more over the last month or so and found body and soul has become the very thing that cb apparently got shut down for. It is sad really
Agreed pixi, I too pop back here now and then to see what's happening and ask the odd question.
I have to admit, I hardly use this site anymore - when cb was alive and kicking I found I dotted between each of the topics with interest and spent a good while in the cb section. Once I noticed B&S becoming the chat section I found that I stopped visiting the site on a regular basis.
B&S was a really good place if you had any concerns, questions or anything productive to add to a post.
Sadly, it recently become the battle ground for those who can't help but create an atmosphere for the sake of getting a kick out of trying to wind people up.
