Do you hate your nose being touched?

Not sure whether to call it a phobia or what, but whenever someone goes near my nose to pinch it i get this overwhelming fear like i'm going to suffocate, i have to pull anyway, even if its just for a second it feels like my nose is burning and i can't breathe. I hate my nose being touched so much!!

Does anyone else get this or have anything similar, or am i plain wierd?

OMG i'm exactly the same - sort of - without the 'suffocating/burning" bit.

Cant stand people touching my nose.... my friends and b/f have picked up on this and obviously feel the need to always attempt to.

or when someone does touch it i always have to brush it off (there touch).

Even writing this i realised i started to brush my nose repeatedly.

DOnt know why though.....

I think its pretty odd that so many people touch your nose! I can't remember the last time someone other than me touched my nose?! Maybe its just coz you are so aware of it! I probably wouldn't like it but I wouldn't say its a fear. Yours sounds pretty 'phobia' like!

I'm the same with my neck, if someone puts their hand near my neck I completely freak out and go crazy!! Like they are going to strangle me!!!!

Ruby as nat said, people pick up on the fact you hate it and do it all the more to get a reaction!

yeah it is weird.

My nose is pretty normal so its not like i have a reason for people to touch it. Ive never broken it but just the thought of people touching it makes me fell all horrible.

Well at least a can provide my mates with entertainment when they're bored - they havent done it for a while now though so hopefully the "excitement" is wearing off.

Yours sounds more like a phobia caz - especially if u get all claustrophbic (spelling?!)!

i hate my nose being touched too, i have no idea why. i might come from the fact i used to have loads of nosebleeds when i was small.

i also hate people touching my bellybutton. I had it pierced, which was ok, but i hate if people try to stick their finger in (not that it happens much!)

I didn't realise how many people were so over protective of their noses.

I often touch girlies on the nose with my index finger as a sort of kiss without kissing jesture, mostly at times when It would definately be inappropriate ( and maybe very embarrasing! ) to go in for a good lingering kiss.

It certainly adds an air of mystery around new years eve when my mate gets it reported back to him "your mate touched my nose instead of snoggin me the other night".

When I was little my uncles, who are like my older brothers, would grab my nose then take away their hand and start taunting me, "I've got your nose! I've got your nose!" Till I would cry and my mom would tell them to stop.
Ever since I have not liked my nose to be touched. It's strange how that could make me sensative, but I am.

Now, when ever my friends, family, and/or b/f touch my nose I flip out. Rubbing my nose frantically trying to wipe off the imaginary "stuff" they leave on my nose. It's hard when I kiss my boyfriend and his mustach touches it, then it really drives me up the wall.

I wish I could get rid of this sensation but Its hard.
