just pulled out coffee table to the middle of the room and stood up on it to look in the mirror over the fireplace, I've just asked him what he was doing, and he said he was just looking to see if he had square eyes yet!!

My mates...

I was really down the other weekend, and was planning on spending it in my pajamas, eating bread straight from the bag, and crying.

My mates turned up, one grab my clothes and my sleeping bag, the other my face wipes and deoderant, and the third bundled me into the car! We all went up to Ingleton, talked, laughed and got thoroughly merry, we went walking and caving, picnicked in the sunshine, and I had the hugest smile on my face when I got home!

I thought I'd add my story to this thread:

Usual morning alarm at 8.30am by Little OBonio. We left her in her nappy overnight due to the heat. Lovely surprise for daddy when he goes to get her up. Nappy off, and brown everywhere! Brown hands, legs and even a brown moustache! She seemed to be enjoying herself though and had that look of achievment on her face.

Am currently decontaminating her room and may need a 3rd shower!

I had a similar thing this week - my son (3) was playing and going backwards & forwards from kitchen to sitting rom - then disapeared for a bit, it was a bit quiet so I went to investigate. He had got hold of a tube of LUMINOUS PINK fabric dye & it was everywhere!! Floor, walls etc - I didn't realise until later that it was also INSIDE the washing machine and INSIDE the fridge - smeared on a pack of chicken!!!

what a nightmare - got most of it off everywhere but lost a couple of towels!!

That's cute Dotty, you have to laugh when they do things like that. There's nothing better than the innocence of a child to bring a smile to your face :)

Best thing in my life just now is after getting seriously burned by the sun yesterday, feeling really sorry for myself today and basically broke down, I got the best hug ever from my fiance.
