No,another passport is out of the question - the regulations have changed and now the only passport you can do the same day if you turn up at the office is a rebewal - not a lost one - that will take 3 wks.

I don't know what we are going to do to be honest - just pray to god that when he picks child up the passport is sitting there and she has just done all this to wind him up to last minute.

Shame on her mother if she has "lost" it accidentally on purpose. I can understand how mad you must be with her if that is the case, however she could be genuine. Will you still go even if his daughter cant? If so, just have a nice time, its not your fault. Xx

Hey Pink! I don't blame yer for wanting to get some revenge. Thing is you already have your revenge by being the better person and not stooping to her levels to spoil things for everyone. I would feel the same way as you but would never actually go thru with it, just like I didn't think you really were going to anyway :o)
It sucks sometimes being the better person without being able to rub people's faces in it or at the very least make them see how pathetic their actions/words have been.
I hope as said above, you get there Friday and the passport has miracously turned up :o)
If I don't get another chance again, have a wonderful holiday!! :o)

sorry to put a downer on things but,,,in this current climate there is no way the french will let you in without a passport...come to think of it I don't think they would let you leave the uk....as far as the authorities are concerned you could be snatching the child away from the mother and doing a runner abroad.... let's hope youf bf's ex has the decency to turn her house upside down in search of passport.....

Hi Ermintrude - I have already had a brief chat with the port and Immigration at Dover and If I dont have the passport by thursday morning I am to call them back,and as long as we have the birth certificate and health card they will let us get on the boat as long as the French side agree.
