hey guys just wondering if u lot could help just got of the phone to my aunty and shes having a discussion with her daughter who is turning 18 in a few months about where to have her 18th birthday party but she wants something unusual, she says she wants to be different , not the usual community centre party (lol ) can you guys think of any unusual ideas???

Sam asked me to post this again for her and if I get banned I shall go craaaaazy!!!!

depends where she lives, but we had a load of 18th's on boats. they were moored up and had disco, bars etc but was slightly different from your normal venue

Good idea of mccfluffs,is it in Midlands near sam? cos I was thinking along same lines,maybe hire a couple of narrow boats on canal, or Football clubs hire out function rooms,or do it like we used to a real good party above a pub, or if someones got a really big garden Hire a marquee,bl00dy costly though, good luck sam, say hi to her loobie, I have just sent her an e-mail, Ray xx

no it was back when i lived in bristol, i forgot Sam was in stoke

or just give it a theme, and decorate the place to match, they would make it different from normal parties, my 18th was in the cellars of a local pub and we had different bands playing in the alcoves and each area had a different 'feel' to it. mind you that was before all H&S stuff we have now

There was even a Monkey Hanger who was doing Monkey Killers job whilst he was away.

ahh, i've just had my 18th birthday, we went to space ace!
Its a kids indoor play area with ball pools, inflatables and slides etc, which adults can hire out for an evening and bring your own drink!
It was hilarious!
