I have often pondered this question and have spent the last year crying enough tears to solve the drought problem, I would not be surprised if my neighbours start to invite me to cry over their fence.. as one way of getting over the hosepipe ban.
I think that we as women hate to see waste, we cry for our own loss, for the years spent constantly giving of ourselves to the man we love.
We as women have a different perspective than men when it comes to the emotional side of things. It is fair to say that men can and do feel as we do, but that we are more open in our sorrow and regret and not "afraid" to show it.
My own husband has been going through his own crisis this past year and I would stand in front of the Devil himself to keep him from harm.
Crying is an outward show of the depth of our despair when they leave us unexpectedly, but it also a form of inner cleansing.
Let the tears flow..................
Sorrow looks back
Worry looks around
Faith looks up
Hope looks forward
kind regards
