I was so unhappy in my last relationship that i've CHOSEN to be alone for THREE AND A HALF YEARS!!!!! I'm now thinking of starting to have relationships, but found it difficult to find the right guy... and at time's I wonder if I'll ever be in a happy relationship again, going for meals, quiet romantic nights in, weekends in bed, etc.

But then i think of all my mates complaining about jealous partners, money stresses, constant bickering and blazing full-on arguments, moving in and out of eachother's flats, annoying mind games and all that stuff and I'm glad to stay single for a little while longer! XXX

i would chose to be alone.
i was in an unhappy relationship and i stayed there longer than i should have done because i was scared of being alone, but i eventually made that break and i'm glad i did.

I always worry about being lonely and dread that scary sunday night feeling that descends about 6pm on a sunday night (cant explain that one too well!)

How do you know when you are unhappy enough to leave. I have thought I was in that position many times and even paid a deposit for my own place but then changed my mind

im alone...it has its advantages and disadvantages.

Advantage .....can go on beer and pull every weekend and do what I like


Disadvantage.....bit lonely during the week...noone special to come home to.

Thank you to all who replied. In this relationship, I spent most of the time by myself anyway.....so guess I was halfway to being single. I will still miss him though :(
