Personally women that get the trowel out and sling on the makeup look more hidious, i prefer the natural look in women, i don't mind women wearing minimal amounts of make up by the way.
Do you need make up or are you the natural type, and what do the fella's prefer in women in reference to the above
Laurence - do you have any idea how much make up it takes to get a natural look??? 8-P
I must say I hate the trowelled on look that some people tend to go for - but unfortunately most people have got spots/blemishes/dark circles/uneven tone, etc that they like to cover up - but this can be done and still achieve a 'natural' look!!
Personally, I am very pale so would never go out without some basic make-up, I also always use mascara as I wear glasses & my eyes tend to disappear a bit otherwise!
If I have no make-up on people always seem to ask me if I'm feeling ok as I look a bit sickly!!
men always say they prefer the natural look - but what they don't know is how much make-up the "natural look" requires! Not to mention the complicated cleaning/toning/mosturizing daily routine! bless 'em!
dont wear it, maybe once a year. have far more important things to do than spend time in front of mirror putting on foundation lippy mascara etc.....
use soap and water to wash with and still get told by total strangers that i look at least 5 yeats younger than i am.
pale people could try going outside in the sun to get some colour in their cheeks
I just go with the Nivea night cream, a good wash-off with Garnier cucumber, and a light run over with the Remington. The natural look is nothing to be embarassed about, but do check with your doctor first !
The only make-up I ever wear is lipstick, and often I don't even bother to put that on. I don't understand why some members of my sex, the older they become, the more make-up they seem to feel they should apply. It usually looks totally artifical and adds on years, rather than deducting them.
All they're doing is lining the pockets of the cosmetics manufacturers.
personally i think women who' trowel' it on are insecure about their looks in some way.we all like a little foundation etc to cover blemishes but i had a friend who wouldnt go to the local shop without make-up! I guess I feel sorry for women who have to do that, we all put our face on at certain times but to have to do it 24/7 must be a nightmare.I do beleive women who do that should be pitied and i know a lot of guys like the natural look.it just so happens its acceptable for us women to hide our imperpections beneath make-up.some just go to the extreme and it looks a bit much at times.
