Facing God and our own Soul

It seems to me that virtually everything humanity does is based upon how much profit can be gained, money, stuff.
I am the same, horribly normal.
Money buys things, it is the whole reason to live.
Is there anything else beyond this. If not we are fu---d.

I need a certain amount to eat and buy clothes/pay bills, but life itself is not about money. I think you maybe learn that as you grow older and you start to lose your friends- ie- people die. You realise that life is very short and we are only here for the experience. You may as well make the most of the little time you have, as it is over in a flash, and the worst thing is- nobody knows when their time is up. Life is for living, loving and travelling. Experiencing what you can in the time you have- and maybe having kids and continuing the population if it happens. Money is just something within life that we need a bit of to keep going. Get too much, or too involved, and you lose sight of what life is really about.
Easypeasy:- Become a Buddist - end the cycle of birth and re-birth through following the teachings of The Buddha.
Buddhist practice is to put an end to this mass of suffering we call existence. "I teach one thing and one thing only: suffering and the end of suffering" (The Buddha). Following reaching the Middle Way and a realistion of the pain of human existence, the aim is to reach nirvana.

Obviously there is a lot more to life than money but the LACK of money is the root of all evil.Millionaires dont go mugging people or shop liffting to feed there family.Money is necessary and a nice amount makes life comfortable. But there is a lot more to life...love,friends,family,a job thats rewarding, children. Life is what you make it...
