not at all related, but I've always wanted to go to the Edinburgh Tattoo - I remember watching it on TV with my gran when I was little, I still watch it every year, but''ve never been!!

Yup, everythings on just now! There's hardly a better time of year to come to Edinburgh, there's around ten different festivals running simultaenously, the tattoo's only one of them. There's such a buzz in town just now, just walking round the city centre will put a smile on your face. If anyone fancies meeting up to see a show or just to see the sights let me know, im more than willing to be a tour guide! Have fun if you dont!

sorry not answering your q but when you go, make sure you check out Frankenstiens pub (very good food) & hard rock cafe! they are both excellent places to go for a meal or night out. hope you have a good time :) - ps. the zoo is brilliant too.
