I now have lost a whole circle of friends because of it. But they weren't worth it anyway obviously. Sometimes when things are important to you you just have to say something!
Last year we were out having a drink and there was this really loud, large girl. Totally mouthing it off. It was the middle of August and I just said "oh my god - It's Kinga" (BB6). She soon shut up, but here friends took the michael out of her.
Yes - not after a drink but for some reason, after 20 years of keeping something to myself, (and my husband) I confided in a colleague/friend. It is now the biggest regret of my life. I cannot understand how she got me to open up - my counsellor suggests a degree of manipulation involved but it has now opened a can of worms which I am struggling to address. Could kick myself.
Yes, sometimes it is too hard to keep your mouth shut. I have confided in people recently because i really needed to talk about something and now i wish i hadn't incase it gets out.
