The weather dosen't bother me one bit, to be honest i prefer the cold & rain to the sunshine, it does make me laugh tho when the forecasters say either the, HEATWAVE IS OVER after 2/3 days sunny weather or HORRENDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS FOR MOTORIST after a sprinkle of rain.
Even an inch of snow brings the country to a stand, how unfortunate are we with the weather!!! fancy them other LUCKY countries that get HURRICANES , MONSOONS, -25 DEGREES TEMPERATURES etc, the lucky sods

Oh listen to you Eeyore! :oP
I really don't mind this kind of weather, in fact, Autumn is my favourite time of the year.
I can see why people perk up throughout the summer and get together for social events as crete mentioned.
But, just because it's not so bright and the clouds are drifting past, doesn't mean you have to lose sight of what your life is all about.
we moan when it's too hot, we moan when it's too cold, we moan if it's raining, we moan when the snow falls and discover it didn't snow quite enough to block us in and prevent us from going in to work - it's a no win situation!!
Chin up fms :o)

Just to continue with the Q ...
for me, the only problem I have with the wind and the rain is that I worry about my hair going curly and as shallow as it may sound, if I know my hair isn't up to standard (for me) then it has an impact on my confidence.
the sun - I burn very easily and no matter how much sun cream I use I still burn.
