AB romance and AB meetings

has there ever been any AB romance? ever met up with anyone from AB? were they like you expected? or is there anyone you would really like to meet? xXx

What if Zorro is not a giant-slayer, but a small bespectacled goon with a battery-powered sword from Argos ? What if that gorgeous bird turns out to be a bloke ?

I'll give it a miss (don't all cheer at once!), but will be delighted to watch the messages of deflation on here when reality intrudes into and kills fantasy.

posy, I am sure that the vast majority of people on here are genuine, but think a bit. Everybody has a mental picture of their favourites, and their non-favourites. Stick all that lot together in real life, and suddenly everything will change for most, for ever.

yes, whiffey it is. we dont all meander through life with the same negative attitude as you. if you dont want your illusions shattered dont turn up. it isnt compulsory.

look at it this way whiffster.
if there are people on AB who you already get along well with, then you probably already have other means of contacting them, email, msn whatever.
so you probably already know what they look like and what they are like outside of AB. so if you know all this and still want to meet them what is the problem.

stevie, agreed, of course you will have got to know many people lots better in msn, email, etc. The point I am making is not about one-to-ones, it's the daft notion that if you put a crowd of ABers in the same room a load of illusions would not be shattered.

take my fave person on AB, i have both her emails, her msn, her mobile and her home address. and i cant wait to meet her. so a get together is fine in my book.
dont lie on here then you wont look a tool at a meet.
