lazy bulldog

Ihave just taken my 10 month old bulldog for a 10 minute walk which took nearly 40 mins!!he will not go anywhere!I know they are a lazy dog but he just stops and gives me the dead eyes!!getting him out of the front door is a chore in itself!anyone else experience this?!Or is my dog one of his own!!

I have already read it.We got our dog from a local breeder we have known for years and she doesn't breed to get the biggest head etc.I know where your coming from because there is a lot of owners who regard their dogs as money and trophy material.Our dog is a pet and is the best dog ever!Not every bulldog is like you portray.I agree with you the kennel club is totally old fashioned no dog should have to conform to a specific 'look',is that not what we are trying to teach kids today??

My grandfather has a bulldog and she is indeed lazy. it is just in there genes
