If you're told you have high cholesteral due to diet and if you change your diet, excer cise etc. How long should it take to bring your levels down ? How long before you should try another test, a week, month ? Anyone know what the timeframes are

It has taken me about six months to do this by watching what I eat and drink.I have also given up smoking.... My GP put me on Statavastin for a while which helped .
