Things to do before your 30
12 Answers
I'm rapidly approaching 29 and just for fun wondered if anyone had any thoughts on things you should have done by the time you're 30 - then I've got a year to get any good ones in. Thanks.

Laurence2 I've not been married once so I don't think I've got much chance of getting married 3 times but maybe I can try for once by next year. I can cross the road by myself so I'm doing alright there!
I'm scared of heights and not very sporty so the dare devil sports aren't much good for me but I quite fancy the hot air balloon ride so I'll bear that in mind and I should probably think about conquering my fears. Saintjohnny you should definitely think about the hang gliding if it's what you want to do.
I'm stuck in a rut at the moment so I've set myself the challenge of completely turning my life around by the time I'm 30. Never mind the 18-30 hol I'm off to St Tropez soon so maybe I'll meet a nice millionaire, that'd be a start.

Catlavender - give yourself a break. Turn your whole life around by 30? If you succeed, write a book and let us know!
Pick one fear and slap it upside the head. I'm incredibly afraid of heights; that's why we went for daredevil stuff. I heartily recommend the hot air balloon ride. Just be prepared for a rough landing - it's never as smooth as it looks. But it certainly was beautiful.
How about a sailing school adventure? St. Tropez would be a great place for that. There's nothing like the feeling that you've survived something totally outside your comfort zone.

Willa I'll consider that while I'm there, I quite like boats and the sea so it's a good idea. When I say turn my life around I'm probably exaggerating but I've always seen 30 as an age where I thought I'd be married, have kids, good job etc and it's looking like I won't which isn't worrying me anymore but I would like to start looking at changing things a little to get me out of this rut which is, I think, down to my pre-conceived ideas about what my life should be like at 30.
well im over 40 (eh just) and refuse to act my age. i finally went to a rave in ibiza..brill...there's not much i aint done but not the extreme sports stuff cos im a chicken and my hair would get messed up!! lol my friends mum celebrated her 75th birthday with a tatoo....go Betty!!! hehe...dont worry too much about your age...it really does get better, honest.
