cat with diabetis

hi all one of my cats has been diagnosed with diabetis and is having insulin injections twice daily anyone got any tips on managing this conditon other then the info from the vets that i have got ,also where can i buy the syringes cheaper at the moment i am paying 7-50 for 30 or is this standard price

Not wanting to sound mean, but it's a cat. I wouldn't pay that amount of money (any for that matter) on an animal that treats you as a servant. Euthanasia is your best option. Then buy a dog.
