more period stuff

Im due to go on holiday next month just for 4 days. its typical that im due on right at this time.
not wanting to always have to think about the 'monthly monster' whilst away trying to have fun, is there anything i can do to delay it?

i'm on microgynon30 [21day pill] i heard that starting the next pack without a break can delay the period.

does anyone know if this is true? or what else to suggest? thanks
