Got my first few at about 14 and by 18 or 19 I was having to dye it to cover it up. Now I guess if I let all the dye grow out I would be completely grey but I'm not ready to give in yet!
My poor 4 year old has one big grey hair right in the middle of her fringe. It runs in the family- my dad went grey very early too.
Well that makes me feel a bit better. I am 28 and I have been dying my hair for 3 years. I have dark brown hair, so if I Iet it grow 6-8 weeks without coloring it, all the greys show very clearly. They sparkle as if to say "hey fellas look at me!" Grrrr.
When I was in my late twenties ..slowly but surely it has covered 75% of my head now I am in my late fifties If I can find any original bits of my natural colour it would be a miracle.I bow and scrape to the great god Loreal and my hairdresser.
I noticed my first grey hair on my 27th birthday, which was nice. I'm 40 now and they're not that bad. I pluck them out as I can't be bothered faffing around with dyes. I'll be bald by 50.
i didnt just start going grey in my late 20's but i started losing it aswell!!!!! cheers for that dad.
dont dye, just mow the clippers over it. stunning!!
There's nothing better than looking in the mirror and seeing wiry white hairs sticking up like aerials is there! I actually quite like my natural hair colour (dark brown) and don't want to dye it, but I've got a box of Clairol on standby. :o(
