Just a simple question???

why is it that even the simplest of questions posted on here can get into arguments with rival Ab'ers.......

in the beginning when i found this site, it was great, you wanted a question answered and 9 times out of 10 the answer was there.. now its just slaging eah other off

does anyone else feel like this??

Actually (C) did not insist that (B) did not have that right.

(C) was simply irritated with (B) because (B) had made such a big thing over what (A) had said. (B) is perfectly entitled to have an opinion. As is (A), even though (B) did not agree with that opinion. Just because (C) did not agree with (B)'s opinion, (C) still believes (B) has a perfectly valid point.

There are no 'gangs' on AB.

And if there were, i'm not sure (A) and (C) would be in the same one anyway!! Lol...

morning neenee.Ab has changed a lot since I joined. I love the chatty threads but i know that not what AB is about. I guess if Chatterbank was brought back members could all go there but it seems it wont be!! It might be an answer to this problem.

Morning Neenee! Or is it now afternoon? I too love the cheeky banter on this site, some of the posters are incredibly funny, Naz and Dot always make me chuckle, but there are also plenty of others who come up with the good quips! Okay I will take my tongue out of everyones backside and continue. I posted quite a strong question recently (my strong opinion on single parents and parents in general). I expected some strong even insulting answers, but I was very surprised at how considered the anwers were. I felt we had a good debate and I respected the views of those opposing mine. I feel that we should all respect the views of others even if we disagree with them, it makes for a far nicer site! I don't understand people slagging each other off, even though sometimes it is very funny to read! I am off my soap box now!

I looked at an old question I had posted back in 2004 and all the answers were thoughtful and helpful, and from all the old famous people- Andy Hughes, Nicola_red etc... Where are they now?
Got hacked off with the idiots on the site and gone, I assume.
