indian henna tattoos

Ive heard that some henna tattoos can cause bad allergic reactions, has anyone had one done in india and had a good experience? be very gratefull for any info..

A friend's young daughter (9 yrs) had one done in Turkey with terrible side effects the area she had tattooed became red, raised, sore and itchy but it also affected the rest of her body has the poison had entered her blood stream.

i had one and it was fine. I had one on my shoulder and it came off fine after a couple of weeks. However, i have heard that some people have been scarred from them.
