I think I may have seen one, but I suffer from sleep paralysis from time to time which includes very vivid 'hallucinations' so now Im not so sure. My sister died as a child, and I thought I woke up and saw her at the end of my mums bed (I was in room with mum because my big sis was up on hols and always got my room!). Its the only experience I have ever had.
crete- behave you nana. Im really interested in it not that I have seen or heard anything to not make me believe in it. I have dreams about my mum who is now deceased that are quite vivid and she talks to me in them. my grandad tells me about the ghost's he's seen. My husband sees shadows on our landing. as ive probably mentioned a million times before he's deaf so they used to think that because he has had one sense taken away he has a 6th sense instead.
I live in the Tower of London and I don't believe in ghosts, but weird things do happen and I've seen them happen, babies crying from within towers when they are shut, lights on when they shouldn't be, objects moved from where they were left, that sort of stuff, also there are a few figures, shadows really, where it is impossible to have them.
I'm the same as Alijangra I suffer from sleep paralysis so I see all sorts in the night from black cats in my room to octopus jumping out my bedroom wall :-). But I know I have seen a ghost on a couple of occasions as my mates have seen the same ghost.
i own the flat next to 4getmenot in what is a very old building. there used to be an adjoining door which was closed up when they became flats. Every time i walk out of a room into the corridor i look towards that door, expecting to see someone walking towards me.
Ive also seen many things i cant explain and we are waiting for a paranormal investigator to do tests at our flats.
I don't know what it is. You'd think that with every nasty thing that has happened there, that it would feel really oprresive and depressed, but it doesn't, it actually feels nice and safe. I know that the control room see plenty of so called 'orbs' at night, they get picked up on the infra red and night vision cameras, most of them you can put down to dust particles, even some of the swirling mist, but the blobby shaped ones as weird. If you are ever in London and fancy seeing what it is like at night then give me a shout and you can be my guest for the evening.
eric that would be fantastic. I'm in London for a meeting on Thursday but I dont think my hubby would appreciate me ********* off with some bloke to the tower of London. I would be scared stiff. Ravens are bad enough
Its weird spanner because you are awake but not so I can be sat up in my bed fighting with all these monsters when really my body has woken up but my mind is still dreaming. Luckily no-one has seen it yet but it must be hilarious. I eventually slowly wake up and find myself holding onto my bed covers trying to hold the monsters down :-)
4getmenot, its awful isnt it? The worst for me is when its like someone under my bed that keeps jumping out and grabbing my legs, hands etc then I am screaming really loudly in my head but I am completely stuck. Its nasty. I find it really traumatic and frightening sometimes, but Im learning to deal with it.
spanner I'm not a bloke, I'm called myself ericgit after my dog who was called eric and he was a git. My husband is a beefeater at the tower, Thursday would be good, if you can make it in the evening, and I'll even take you for a drink in the Warders club and might even get my hubby to do a private tour.
Amara, I think the last paranormal investigation was done about 4-6 years ago, it was a BBC programme I think with Paul Darrow hosting it and some silly woman saying that she could draw the pictures of those who had departed. It was particurally good when she describe a really horrible and gruesome torture and then death of a prisoner and then was promptly told that, that one had actually escaped and lived to a ripe old age in Rome!.
Yes I have seen them since I was small, and I still do. Everyone is psychic, most people just choose to ignore it. Some choose to develop it, which is what I did. Now I work with Angels and Spirit beings as a Medium and Spiritual Teacher. xx
what I do is shine my clock light on whatever is attacking me, by doing this it wakes me up and I end up just shining the light on nothing and laughing to myself. Can I ask do you get the sleep paralysis where you cant breath and start choking? sorry spanner to interupt your post. xx
Spanner if you are here on Thursday and want to come along then send a note to [email protected], in fact if any of you are this way then give me a shout. I'mm off home now, I'll try and look in on this thread later.
sorry ericgit- I'll definately try another time as due to stay at a friends in septmeber so I will give you a buzz then. As for you sleep deprived people I think i will have nightmares just thinking about it tonight.
Amara_ if you can tell me something about me that I have never mentioned on this site I will be chuffed to bits and buy you a drink. I have an angel and I used to be quite psychic. I want to develop but cant find any decent books to help me meditate enough to get myself in a psychic state so any advise would be great also. x
