Low Lights

I have just phoned up a local salon as I fancy a change for the past 4 years my hair has just been coloured all blonde, im bored with it and It is getting really dry and damaged from the colour and the straightners, we had a chat on the phone and I am booked in tomorrow to be still blonde but with brown low lights pulled through or something she said we would chat properly tomorrow. I have no idea how this is going to look but I don't want to go from blonde to brown overnight I am not very daring. My hair is just passed my shoulder and all layered.

Any hairdressers out there can explain how its going to look? or mention any celebs with a similar style? Will it be subtle brown? god im getting nervous now I hate change.

I had exactly the same problem but was really pleased I went darker. My overall colour was still blonde but my hairdresser put 2 diff browns through and it looked fab. It was very subtle and if you do it like this, you van get a bit darker still next time if you like it.

it looks really good I wasnt very daring though and only had a few brown low lights to start with and they are really subtle but you can see them well enough might have more next time make it more noticeable, Im really glad I did it looks good and it has made my hair less in your face white blonde which I wanted, had it all cut aswell so feels a lot healthier I would go for it if I was you let me know if you do.
