Thank you to all who have answered, lost my father 19/11/05 but still can't believe it or get over it, am 20, he was 42, he was 43 on the 08/12/05, totally unexpected!!!

Fremsley, where can I get this song! Cried to the lyrics! The mike &the ,echanics song made me cry as my GF was expectin a baby when my father ied, he was really lookin forward to seeing him!!

kevgerlan - you have my absolute sympathy. My dad died when I was only 10 years old, and although it's been 27 years since then (and 17 since The Living Years came out), the song still gives me a lump in my throat whenever I hear it.

I've just read the lyrics to the song fremsley mentions. I can only agree - wow!

Look for it by Davy Arthur and the Furys,Just got goosepimples typing this. When this was played at my fathers funeral the biggest smile came to my face and a tear to my eye. It was so Beautiful and reminded me of the great relationship i had with my dad,my heart pounded and made me so proud that he was our dad.
