Does anyone suffer from it, and what do you take for it if so? I take Fybogel and seems to work fine. Fruit and beer are particular problems for me :(

It creates gas and bloating which is the side effect of fibre-its supposed to get better after a while taking them but why do it in the first place-it may not get better.
The BEST thing i have ever taken is spore gone..it contains caprylic acid which is used to treat severe intestinal gas, bloating, yeast and fungal/ bacterial overgrowth in the intestines. I suggest you buy capsules contaning this acid and you will see a definite difference.
Beer would be problematic as it is full of yeast and gassy, and fruit is full of fibre and quite wet..you should eat fruit, but NOT after a main meal. In the morning without anything else is fine or as a snack in between meals. You may also buy a smoothie maker and smooth one banana, some ginger, and an apple for brekkie.

Some good advice. I find it hard to quit bread though-I dont eat white, I eat wholemeal. Also, how can I quit alcohol when I like a glass or two of wine most days! I have reduced by beer intake though because thats what makes me ill particularly.
Can you get charcoal tablets and the peppermint tablets from any chemist or from Boots?
I hardly eat fruit but do eat veggies. Also, tea and coffee make my symptoms worse!

I haven't given up bread altogether, but have cut down and eat wholemeal 90% of the time. also, I never ever ever eat processed white bread, if I eat white bread at all I get it from the bakers, not sure if this would make a difference or not though.
Try buying decaffeinated tea and coffee, you can barely taste the difference nowadays.
You say you don't eat fruit but here are so many differne types to try and see if you like them! Try to buy one new fruit per week, and I am sure eventually you will find fruit you like to eat reguarly. Do you like dried fruit?
