My niece is 3 weeks old and seems to have some difficulty breathing. She seems to miss an occasional breath, or to sounds a bit phlegmy. They took her to the docs, but she was ok that day so he said she was fine. She hasn't been going blue or anything, and seems very contented and is gaining weight. Is this relatively normal or should they be worried?

Babies are surprisingly noisy breathers, snuffling and grunting their way along! If you're still worried, tell your sister/brother to ask their Health Visitor, they have seen it all and give sound advice (usually!)
