Hi there, I have just started a new job which in turn will bring alot more stress, I have had depression on & off for most of my life and cope without medication. I do not exercise and feel that I should but due to new job I don't have much time though. So I thought I may try either pilates or yoga, which is better suited for me? Firstly I want some form of stress relief and secondly I would like to get into better shape and tone up as I do not exercise. Thanks guys
Both are great ways to exercise - for me Yoga is the one that gives the most relaxation, will teach you how to breathe in a different way which can assist you in all areas of your life too, and you will tone up and feel better aswell. Either sign up for a class or buy a home video/dvd - or both. Love and light - Amara xx
