2 pleas for help.....

Can anyone recommend any good hotels/B&B's in Eastbourne for next weekend. I am looking for somewhere nice for me & my boyfriend to stay. Something modern and funky.

And..

Can you recommend a nice restaurant also in Eastbourne, but not quite so modern and funky, my grandparents (87 and 89) are heading down there for a weekend break to the same hotel they have gone to yearly for their entire 60 years together, I want to surprise them and take them out somewhere nice for lunch. They are the most deserving and amazing people in the world so I want spoil them rotten.

Ay ideas are greatfully appreciated.

Don't know about modern and funkey, not in Eastbourne, I just got back from there, stayed at the 'Albany Lions Hotel', three star, the staff were young and very accomodating, the guests when I was there were a mix of young and old, i'd reccomend it any time, its only drawback is its lift, which is due to be modernised soon.
