Distended Bowel
2 Answers
Hi,
My sister' baby is due at end of November, she was at the hospital today for a scan and has been told that the baby has a 'distended bowel' and has been referred to a consultant and an extra scan on Thurs.
Could anyone tell me what this means or if they have had any experience of this as she is really panicking!!!
Thanks in advance

ps I've put this in parenting too

It all went very well and she is a very healthy baby, Mum had a bad time before the delivery and whilst they were operating because it was worrrying, but all is well now. they have amazing technology these days and can learn so much before the baby is even born.
Thanks dot, it wasn't me that you spoke to last time it was annavac but her question didn't come up when I put mine in but I've found it now.
