hi i am due to visit the dentist for a emergency appointment thursday afternoon. i hav 3 leakin crowns at the top front but tday one of them has been agonising toothache its painful to touchor wen it hits the bottom teeth!also one side of my face is a bit hot, i dont no whether to brush my teeth tnite and put my nitesheild in or not i did start using listerine mouth wash a week ago dont no whether that has stared it all of tho. i hav tried sum clove oil tday with no luck. any advice wud be so helpful until i get my appointment on thursday many thanks all

get dosed up on paracetamol, if you can get hold of some codeine or co-proxomol that will kill off any pain until Thursday, be careful, follow directions on packets etc

thanks ratter am ready to take a pair of pliers to it at the moment!
Could be an abcess, if it is, there's nothing you can really do apart from take painkillers.
I had abcesses under two of my crowns so I know how painful they are, but since having treatment and taking antibiotics, they have been ok.
