Well considering we are all so perfect have any of you even met a chav or rather charver, they are usually just good kids who try to join in with their mates and be accepted not all are bad, I have a niece who NO does not wear burberry, so first of all lets get our facts right, never wears a ponytail but considers herself a charver not chav, better than a goth which seems to be the only other option and they only come out at night!!!

Well I am impressed at your answer Ward Minter, fact is majority of charvers don't live on council estates or at least not where I live, you obviously must do as you seem to know so much about them, stick your arm out of the window and wave now, and when you do realise what you are talking about don't forget your car keys are outside oops you havnt got a car cant afford it lol

well hi fatman, the gist of this letter was, if remember the highlights, so what if i'm a chav, i only spat on the guy because he wouldn't get me fags, and they weren't even for me they were for my 10 yr old sister' another quote 'you lot think we're so bad because we drink but i would never drink and drive i'm only 13'
McFluff, I do agree with what you have said however I don't think labelling ALL charvers as hooligans is fair, I firmly believe unfortunately its the youth of today, charvers, chavs, goths, whatever, its a shame really but what can we do? I'm 34 and I don't actually remember a label used in my era unless Brossette is a one anyone can you remember, mods and rockers were before my time
oh i remember brossettes, i was a grunge (nirvana etc) but one of my neices is a chav and i hate it but its her style i just hate the attitiude. another example at the bus stop waitng for my mate to pick me up this chav was smoking a joint, now not content to keep it to himself he made a point of blowing smoke into peoples faces and laughing about it, there were kids there, luckily i was picked up and went before i was sick, but what about the respect for others i have no probs with anyone wanting to smoke pot but not so that its in other peoples faces
