Its my Partners Daughters 13th next month!!! I don't have a clue to get her (she acts old before her age) more of a 15 year old really! ..... She is bigger then me then I am only tiny :-)

Any advise would be appreciated.... oh and do all 13 year olds lives revolve around boys?

be carefull and try not to upstage her real mothers present (saying that as a parent whos children also have stepmum).
Try cd's, dvds, gift vouchers for shops like boots, top shop, body shop all the places a teenager could find things they liked.
Yes somewhere between 12 and 20 yes all that matters to them is boys, Can't you remember?

Thanks Last Chance... No would never intend to upstage her mum. Those were some good suggestions. God I am only 25 have I really forgotten how it was so quickly :0)
If you have a good relationship with her suggest a girly shopping trip to buy her some new clothes, with a pizza thrown in. If she likes to go with her friends ask her if she would like you to buy her a prezzie , or if she would prefer the money. On her birthday give her some little presents like nail varnish, make up, emery boards, hair accessories, costume jewellery etc , wrapped in individual parcels . Put happy Birthday banners up in the house the night before.
Hope it goes well

What about a pretty diary? The disney shop do these and lots of girlie things which kinda still balance the little girl with the little girl who wants to be a big girl.
you could get gift vouchers for "new look" or something similar.
What about a nice piece of "proper" jewellery - something thats real silver like a necklace or a bangle? Or a decent jewellery box if she already owns some jewellery. I seem to rember 13 being the start of getting "grown up" stuff instead of the childrens versions and I still have my first jewellery box, which i think had a bottle of "grown up" perfume in it too
