start writing a reply to a thread and then just think, "Oh I can't be bothered" and delete it?? Happens to me quite often, especially when I'm drawn to post in News. Maybe my self preservation instinct kicks in shouting "leave it, it's not worth it!!" but something makes me pause, then delete. Other times, I just realise that I don't really want to post an answer, and just skip out of it. Is it just me.........?

sometimes. Mostly i have to curb what i am thinking about writing as it seems a lot of people can't really tolerate opposite views to them, and will abuse you till you go away anyway!
I do it too Kick!! You're not alone!!! I write a few words then think, I just can't be arsed!! So just go back and wait for everyone elses' response!!!
yep same
Quite often, Kick ~ most of the time because I read what I am typing and it really isn't looking the way I want it to. The other times I do it as I have a short attention spa
I've done it loads of times, even on threads that I have started sometimes when people are kicking off!!

lol bednobs.....just let rip!! If they don't like it, they can lump it! I'm all for debate and sharing of views, but some folk do get hysterical (and I don't mean funny) if you disagree with them, you're right. I think that's why I avoid posting on some (News) threads. Even although I have strong views and can usually express myself well and argue intelligently, sometimes it's really just not worth getting into.
I have a postit note on my pc screen, it reads "DON'T"

Sometimes however the Budweiser gets the better of commonsense :)

Mostly I give my brain three seconds to engage before I hit the 'submit' button.... And then submit anyway and run for cover.

whiffey - perish the thought at how often you'd post if you didn't have that post it note. Maybe you should stick loads and loads and loads ALL over the screen, just to help you that wee bit more? ;oP
I think i now exactly what you are saying there kick3m0n, I have read some threads and thought about how I would reply but just at that point I

Bu&&er.... And I thought I had my 'sexy and mysterious but strangely intrigueing hat on'... no wonder I've not had any offers all day ;0P
I forgot to mention the other postit note immediately below it, which reads

"EXCEPT on kick's threads"

;oP
Mine does not say that it says 'I'm the smart one' i wear it on site to let the crew know i am boss.
Question Author
lol China, no pet, that one is being temporarily obscured by your huge, floppy, brightly coloured Laugh hat .....hence the strange looks you're getting ;oP

Whiffey - you're clearly not paying sufficient attention to your post it then....you seldom post on my threads. Infact, this may be a first. In which case, well done on popping your Kicky cherry :o)
Yep, I do!
