Do you ever use film or TV quotes in your day to day life? If often find myself using the following:-

"D'oh!"
"You're terrible, Muriel"
"Ten bucks and my left nut says"
"Now how's about that for a piece of fried gold?"
"Go on, go on, go on, go on, GO ON!"

Thats not good thats not sposed to happen. But to this day I still dont know what film or advert its from. and also use You lucky lucky B'stard.
That's made me smile

I use 'you're terrible, Muriel..' far too often too!!!

I also find myself saying: 'that's 'andy 'arry...stick it in the oven...' - which came from some chips/tv meal ad from my childhood.

"What proper fcuked"
Also a fan of 'Doh,' and 'frankly my dear, I just don't give a damn.'

Have been known to say 'yipee, kaya m0ther-fu(ker' when killing bugs with raid in my room... (ahem... lie down time again I think).
lucky lucky b*stard came from Monty Pythons Life of Brian.

I always find myself saying.........You...........are Mental!...What are you like (from the Catherine Tate dizzy couple!)
hahaha your terrible muriel used that for ages and life is like a box of cocolates. theres probibly loads more..... wait I said Doh in an email i sent this morning
I use
"too slow chicken merango" and "smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast" alot, It's from Red Dwarf, yes I know i'm a geek!
My daughters always know they're pushing me just a tad too far when I say,

'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this any more!'
(Network 1976)

It usually resolves matters before I have to get angry in a more serious manner.

hang on what was up with my answer, even 1 star would have done :-(
I recieved a card from a 'Laurel and Hardy' fan today saying ,''In a few months it's Christmas''. From ''Way out West''?
No way Pedro --Fools and Horses
"D'Oh" (it's a classic lol)
"Kind of funny looking" Fargo
"Yipee kay-ay" - with you on that one China :o)))
"humourous George, humourous" fast show
various Blackadder quotes (madder than mad Jack McMad.....cunning plan....wibble.....etc etc)
Liking Red Dwarf doesn't make someone a geek.

I've said "I feel unusual" (Withnail & I) if I am. I once told someone about some shop or other that had long since closed and added, Marty Di Bergi style, "Don't look for it, it's not there anymore" (Spinal Tap) but they didn't click. In Seinfeld there was a bloke who berated someone for "double-dipping" a chip and said in a really tense, wired way "When you take a chip, just take one dip and END it!" My brother and I cracked up at that and adapted it for occasions when someone's repeatedly doing something - "Just do it once and then END IT!"

Talking of Die Hard as someone was, if I can't find something I'll say "Where are my... whatever" in the style of Hans Gruber and his "Where are my detonators".
"You're terrible Muriel" is a popular one - I use it too, but might try and stop now...
I also use the line from my favourite film Rita, Sue & Bob Too, "Make your own f**cking tea." but not to the parents.... haha
I said Doh! long before The Simpsons because I got it from the same source as the guy who voices Homer - i.e. James Finlayson from the Laurel & Hardy films. I always thought it sounded like him and then I saw the Homer guy interviewed and he said that's where he got it from!
Where's that Muriel thing from, then?
Muriels Wedding bd
I'll get me coat (Fast Show)

Scorchio (Fast Show also, i said this as soon as i walked off the plane in the Algarve last week!)

and

Smeg!! (Red Dwarf)
Snap Boo, smoke me a kipper i'll be back for breakfast is my screensaver!
