Are dating agencies a waste of time and money?

Go to http://www.friendsreuniteddating.co.uk/ its a great site with loads of local people on it and I mean local, only a few quid as well. I met my lovely partner on there, its great!!

There's been one advertised on tv recently, now, I'm not knocking dating agencies as I have no experience of them but I do wonder about the impact these companies have on their members confidence.

The ad offers.... If you have no luck in the first 6 months we give you a further 6 months free membership!

Talk about rubbing it in!

There's quite a few recent posts on this in here if you look back which may answer your question :) you can never say, works for some people andnot for others, can't say unless you try :)

The one on TV is Match.com and the best one i've found so far. Always seems to be far more guys than girls on though so you're probably better of as a girl on there, get more hits etc...

I've been on 2 and , although not having met the man of my dreams yet, have made some great friends and met some fantastic people. Had some great dates too.

if they were all a unch of mingers then yeah i would say so....

that speed dating thing is susposed to be really good and if you don't like the person they are gone in a few minutes win win
