thats good enough for me
Snot is another name for nose mucus. It is made in the tissues lining your nose and throat. Healthy snot is clear and is 99% water. It may not be clear because it is mixed with gunge from the air you breathe. When you have a cold your snot may become yellow or green because of the bacteria and bacterial waste it will contain. Snot travels to the back of your throat and you swallow it into your stomach. You may swallow up to 1 litre a day when you have a cold. In some countries it is customary for mothers to suck the snot from their babies nose. When snot mixes with the garbage from the air it may harden and dry forming what is known as a booger or bogie. This will stay in your nose until you either swallow it, blow it out or pick it. 75% of people admit to picking their nose. The other 25% are dishonest. 30% of people claim they eat their boogers. The vulgar word "snot" can also be used to describe a contemptible person. . And now I feel so much better having shared those few little gems.
