How would you describe a friend, what makes a best friend ?

Someone I can trust. Someone with integrity. Someone who understands me. Someone who is similar to me in many ways. Someone who makes me laugh.

All this should work both ways ofcourse. I.e - if I have a best friend that I can trust then (s)he should trust me.

That's a true best friend.
