my husband had a cold sore come up on his eye three weeks ago - he was given zovirax tablets and an antibotic ( I can't remember the name but it begun with an f) when he started taking the antibotics he started having diarrohea he stopped taking them two weeks ago but has still got diarrohea please can you help?

Any medication can affect your bowel ... but as above, get back to the docs.

some people fing taking something like actimel at the same time as ab's helps

It's gross IMHO, but a Gastroenterologist (spelling?) told me that porridge was the best thing for your bowel to keep it healthy
