And I would be a bit scared. But if not why should you see homosexuals any different than heterosexuals. I can agree that you probably do have mates that are the same. I find that there are a lot more homophobic men than woman. Its usually the ones that dont know much about it or havent got to know a homosexual person. Me and my bloke stay with a gay couple and because we have know them he will walk around in his boxers in the morning and doesnt bother him at all. I take it you dont know any personally?
Let me ask you this ... how often do you read in the newspapers of gangs of straight guys attacking people - well nearly every day! And ... how often do you read about gangs of gays attacking people? For that matter how often do you read of gays being in gangs?? Gays are not usually into gang culture in the first place. I have never heard of a straight guy being afraid of gangs of gays attacking him. Generally gays are not violent people, quite the contrary, but I'm sure there are exceptions as they are actually no different than the rest of us. So there may be some underlying issues you may have that you need to face and deal with. Or you need to be a bit more realistic and not so fearful. Good luck.
If one does come onto you, why should it be any different than a woman. Most blokes say if a gay came onto them theyd beat them up, wow how macho. If a bloke came up to me that I really wasnt interested in or I had a boyfriend, then Id just say Im flattered but Im taken sorry not beat him up, the same as if a woman came onto me, cant see why you need to be scared.
I must admit, my youthful boy band looks often attract the attention of both sexes when I am out. A polite, 'sorry I'm not interested' for either approaches is usually enough to dismiss their advances.
Perseverance on their part is scary whatever the sex.
And yes, believe it or not I have been flattered, but alas have sadly turned down many an attractive person, man and woman.
