this probably isn't the right section, but I have some spd cycling shoes, and they are covered in bike grease from the chain, from all the cycling I did last summer. How do I get all the grease off?

If the fabric of your shoes is washable: scrape off as much grease as possible. Sprinkle talcum powder over the grease and leave to absorb. Brush off then rub-in undiluted washing-up liquid. Apply hot water to the stain with a clean cloth. Put the shoes in a pillow case and tie a not in it; wash in the washing machine at a high temperature. If all else fails buy some new shoes. Good luck!
